Dog Park

The Dog Park is a "membership" facility located on Almshouse Rd. between Rt. 611 (Easton Rd.) and Turk Rd. in Doylestown Township at Turk Park III. (Across the street from Bucks County Correctional Facility which is 1260 Almshouse.)

Bike Doylestown

Doylestown Borough is a bike friendly community. Bike racks are provided through out town so riders can park their bike while they shop, visit and dine. The Doylestown Community Bike and Hike Network is a network of 16 miles of completed trails, shared roadways and side-paths for use by bicyclists and pedestrians.

Doylestown Borough Statement Concerning Authorization of Crown Castle Settlement​

At the July 16, 2018 public meeting of Doylestown Borough Council, the Council voted to authorize the Borough Manager and Solicitor to finalize a settlement agreement to resolve federal and state court litigation between the Borough and Crown Castle East NG LLC (“Crown Castle”).

Kids love riding bikes - and some of us never lose the joy we felt as five-year-olds on two wheels! Doylestown Borough Council has given its support to build a family-friendly pump track in Chapman Park.

New "Smart" Parking Meters

The installation and activation this week of 437 IPS ‟smart” single-space parking meters completes a process begun in early 2015 to upgrade the Borough’s parking meter system with state of the art, user-friendly technology.

December 18, 2017 - Doylestown Borough Council approves 2018 Budget.

Decision in Crown Castle Hearings

The Doylestown Borough Zoning Hearing Board received 44 applications for the installation of Distributed Antenna System (DAS) "nodes" along roadways throughout the Borough. Crown Castle, LLC sought variances from specific sections of the Zoning Ordinance and also challenged the validity of the Borough's Wireless Communication Ordinance.

November 27, 2017 – The Central Bucks Regional Police Commission, serving the Boroughs of Chalfont, Doylestown, and New Britain, has appointed Karl E. Knott as Chief of Police.

Annual Arts Fest and Bike Race Weekend September 9th & 10th

The Annual Doylestown Arts Festival and the Thompson Bucks County Classic Bike Race will be held on Saturday, September 9, and Sunday, September 10, 2017. Often described as Bucks County's Biggest Weekend these events will result in road closures and detours in Doylestown Borough.
