Leaf Pick Up

​Borough Leaf Collection Doylestown is one of the few towns that collect resident’s leaves curb-side at no charge. If this public service was “privatized,” it would likely cost each resident hundreds of dollars in leaf-hauling charges every year. So that the Borough can continue to provide this free service in these tough economic times, we ask Borough residents to follow three simple rules when placing your leaves out for pickup.

Learn about PFAS

PFAS stands for perfluoroalkyl substances and is a general term used to describe a larger family of man-made perfluorochemicals (PFC’s). Out of the larger group of PFAS chemicals are two specific chemicals known as Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA) and Perfluorooctane Sulfonate (PFOS), which are known to have the most adverse health effects and environmental impact. When referring to PFAS, generally it is these two chemicals that are being referenced.
