FIRE MARSHAL/CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
The Borough of Doylestown is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Fire Marshal/Code Enforcement Officer. The Fire Marshal/Code Enforcement Officer will act as a liaison with the Fire Company and other emergency services agencies. This person will coordinate fire prevention pre-planning with the Building Inspector for new buildings and changes of use, and will facilitate investigative responses by the County Fire Marshal’s office for fire incidents in the Borough. They will participate as needed in building plan reviews. They will inspect structures and properties for compliance with the Borough’s Code of Ordinances and shall enforce all non-traffic and non-criminal provisions of the Code. They will serve as Emergency Management Coordinator.
