DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH RESIDENTS


Doylestown Borough Council is accepting applications from Borough residents to fill a vacancy on the Environment Advisory Council (EAC).

The EAC meets at 6:30 pm on the third Tuesday of every month. Its purpose is to identify environmental issues that affect Doylestown Borough; advise Borough Council and its Committees, along with other agencies, boards, and commissions, on matters dealing with protection, conservation, management, promotion, and use of natural resources; recommend plans and programs for the prevention and resolution of environmental issues to the Borough government; execute programs and initiatives for the resolution of environmental issues; create and deliver educational programs, activities (i.e., for Earth Day), and presentations to enhance community and business awareness of environmental issues and Borough programs to resolve them; and participate in cooperative activities with other area EACs, including the EAC Summit.
