Doylestown Borough continues its recurring schedule of Pedestrian Zones returning to both E. State Street and N. Main Street.

Doylestown, PA - The Borough of Doylestown is moving forward with another series of open-air Pedestrian Zones to drive support for the local small business community. As we head into October, locals and visitors can look forward to additional street closures, expanded outdoor dining and shopping, and more.

On Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3 the block of E. State Street between Main and Pine Street will close to traffic from 5 PM - 11 PM. The following weekend, October 9-10 the block of N. Main Street between State and Court Street will close from 5 PM - 11 PM. Both weekends will close portions of the road to vehicular traffic to allow for expanded outdoor dining and shopping opportunities. Temporary detours will be in place for traffic and free parking will remain available in the County Parking Garage at the corner of Broad & Union streets. Parking will also be available at the new County Parking Facility at nearby Broad and Court for a modest fee.

These recurring events have brought much-needed support to local businesses during an especially challenging time. In addition to the scheduled Pedestrian Zones, locals and visitors can expect an expansion of outdoor seating and shopping opportunities throughout the entire downtown. Business owners and the Borough are working hard to ensure visitors have a safe and responsible experience. Face masks are strongly recommended while not seated at restaurants and social distancing must be observed as we continue to fight the spread of COVID-19.
