It’s that time of year again... Leaf Collection season! While many communities have scaled back this service, Doylestown Borough is proud to continue offering one of our most popular programs.

To keep the process safe and efficient, we ask all residents to follow a few simple rules:

Rule #1: Leaves Only
Put leaves only out for collection- no sticks, branches, rocks, bricks, or other debris. Our vacuum machines are designed for leaves, and anything else can damage the equipment and put our workers at risk. Placing anything other than leaves out for collection is unlawful.

Rule #2: Place Leaves at the Curb (Not in the Street)
Pile leaves at the edge of your yard, on the grass by the curb, where possible. Please do not place them in the street or gutter- wet leaves block storm drains, create drainage issues, and are harder to collect. Keeping them out of the road makes the process much smoother.

Rule #3: Set Leaves Out on Time
Leaves must be placed out by Monday morning of your scheduled collection weeks. Each Borough service district will have two collections. If you miss your collection dates, you can bring bagged leaves to our facility at 300 Harvey Avenue.
