REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - VALET PARKING OPERATOR

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals will be accepted by the Borough of Doylestown until 2:00 p.m. on March 1, 2017, for the license and privilege to operate and conduct three Valet Parking Areas within the Borough of Doylestown as specified under the Borough of Doylestown Valet Parking Ordinance, subject to the terms, conditions, and restrictions as are set forth in the Standard Valet Parking Operator License Agreement.  Sealed proposals will be accepted at the Borough Manager’s Office, Doylestown Borough Hall, 57 West Court St., Doylestown, Pennsylvania, 18901.

Copies of the application documents and the Standard Valet Parking Operator License Agreement may be obtained at the Borough Manager’s Office, Doylestown Borough Hall.  Proposals must be submitted on the Form of Proposal provided by the Borough. The Form of Proposal must include a proposed monthly fee payable to the Borough in an amount of no less than 5% of the Applicant’s monthly gross receipts. 

All proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at approximately 2:00 p.m. on March 1, 2017, at the Borough Manager’s Office, Doylestown Borough Hall.  Borough Council will review the proposals at approximately 7:00 p.m. at a public meeting on March 20, 2017, in Council Chambers, Doylestown Borough Hall.  Award of the license, if made, will be made on or before the sixty (60) days following the opening of proposals.

No Applicant may withdraw its proposal within thirty (30) days after it has been duly deposited at the Office of the Borough Manager.  The Borough reserves the right to award the work in any manner deemed to be in its interest, to reject any or all proposals, and to waive any informalities as permitted by law.
