Changes to Requirements for Residential Property Sales
Doylestown Borough has adopted an ordinance that affects the sale of owner-occupied residential properties. The new ordinance requires a site inspection and Occupancy Certificate whenever an owner-occupied residential property is sold. The inspection covers basic safety and property maintenance code compliance and is not meant to take the place of a private home inspection.
