NEWS > EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2014, BUCKS COUNTY WATER & SEWER AUTHORITY (BCWSA) WILL BE TAKING OVER THEIR SEWER BILLING
Effective January 1, 2014, Bucks County Water & Sewer Authority (BCWSA) will be taking over their sewer billing
An important mesage from your sewer service provider Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority.
Effective January 1, 2014, Bucks County Water & Sewer Authority (BCWSA) will be taking over their sewer billing from Doylestown Borough and customers will begin receiving two separate bills. Water bills will continue to be issued by Doylestown Borough and BCWSA will send a separate bill for sewer service.
In addition to taking over the sewer billing, BCWSA will also be moving from the current quarterly billing system to monthly billing that will also be effective January 1, 2014. Due to Doylestown Borough's system of quarterly billing, BCWSA customers will receive their first sewer bill in January 2014 for one, two or three months of sewer service (depending on their cycle) to close out 2013.
Then, starting in February 2014, customers will begin receiving a monthly sewer bill from BCWSA. Customers will continue to receive their water bills from the Borough on the same quarterly schedule as before. Customers will be brought up to the BCWSA retail sewer rate in the February 2014 bill. Water rates will not increase in 2014.
