Don Berk is a communications consultant with an outstanding track record coaching, writing, consulting, and implementing spoken, graphic, and multimedia communication strategies for world-class companies in information technology, pharmaceutical, health, consumer packaged goods, publishing, and other industries. He is often asked to facilitate groups, bringing people together to work toward a common goal regardless of their individual agendas. He also lectures, conducts seminars, workshops, and individual coaching for public speakers.
Don has revived his art career. His non-objective and abstract expressionist paintings hang at nearby Rich Timmons Gallery, and his sculpture recently took third place in the prestigious Bucks County Sculpture Show.
Don chairs the Environment & Recreation Committee and serves on the Water, Personnel, and Community & Government Affairs Committees. He lives in the Borough with his dog, Ray. He and his two daughters, both CB West grads, are all thrilled to call Doylestown home, although Emily is working in California and Julia is a student at MIT.
Don is a committed fund raiser for various causes and is a ride leader with the Central Bucks Bicycle Club (CBBC). The Borough and CBBC co-sponsor his annual Ride of Silence. This international ride in more than 300 countries on all seven continents often has the largest contingent in NE US in Doylestown.
Don received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College and his M.A. in painting and video from New York University.
